Amber Fragrance Oil
A synthetic blend of essential oils, extracts, resins and other aromatic ingredients. All of our fragrance oils are paraben-free and phthalate-free.
Aminomethyl Propanol
Acts as a pH adjuster and buffer in cosmetic products at concentrations less than 10%.
Aqua (water)
Acts as a solvent.
Bergamot Fragrance Oil
A synthetic blend of essential oils, extracts, resins and other aromatic ingredients. All of our fragrance oils are paraben-free and phthalate-free.
Calendula Flowers, Dried
Adds a pop of yellow color. Promotes skin elasticity, acts as an anti-inflammatory agent, supplies antioxidants that protect the skin from damage.
Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil
Although hemp seed oil is often controversial due to its relation to marijuana, this ingredient holds an impressive variety of benefits. Hemp seed oil contains 0% THC and has absolutely no psychoactive properties. Hemp seed oil is naturally full of omegas fatty acids and vitamin D making it a great additive for moisturizing cosmetic products.
Capric Triglycerides
Works as an emollient, dispersing agent and solvent. Moisturizes hair and skin by absorbing into hair leaving a lightweight and non-greasy lubricating barrier.
Caprylyl Glycol
Functions as a hair conditioning agent, skin conditioning agent, and in some cases an emollient. It has antimicrobial properties that can act as part of a preservative. This can make for a great alternative to Parabens!
Carbomer
Helps to distribute or suspend an insoluble solid in a liquid. It is also used to keep emulsions from separating into their oil and liquid components. It is often used to control the consistency and flow of cosmetic products.
Carnauba Wax
This natural wax is used in cosmetics such as lip balm and lip stick as a hardening wax so these products hold their shape even when they are not in their packaging.
Castor Seed Oil
Castor seed oil is a fatty vegetable oil that is now most commonly known its role in cosmetic products. This oil nourishes the skin, scalp and hair and helps retain moisture. It can also be used in soaps to naturally boost foam.
Celtic Salt
Soaking in natural salts helps reduce inflammation, promotes healing, and provides magnesium that benefit your heart and nervous system. Soaking in salt is also known to encourage more restful sleep.
Cetrimonium Chloride
A surfactant and emulsifying agent.
Cetyl Alcohol
An emulsifier, foam booster, and is used to control the thickness of a product.
Citric Acid
A mild organic acid found in citrus fruits. It can be used as a natural preservative. It can be used to adjust the acidity or promote skin peeling and re-growth in anti-aging products.
Cocamide DIPA
Provides cleansing and foaming properties. Known for its cleaning properties without harsh chemicals or stripping the skin of natural oil.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine
It is a mixture of closely related organic compounds derived from coconut oil. It is available as a viscous pale yellow solution and it is used as a surfactant, and foam booster in personal care products.
Comfrey Root Extract
The roots of the comfrey plant contain chemical substances called allantoin and rosmarinic acid. Allantoin can boost the growth of new skin cells, while rosmarinic acid is known to help relieve pain and inflammation.
Cucumber Fruit Extract
It is a versatile extract that can be added to provide beneficial hydrating properties to skin care products.
Dedric Salt
Soaking in natural salts helps reduce inflammation, promotes healing, and provides magnesium that benefit your heart and nervous system. Dedric Salt is often used better hold and preserve added scent.
Deionized Water
Water that has has almost all of its minerals removed, such as cations like sodium, calcium, iron, and copper, and anions such as chloride and sulfate. By removing these minerals, we are left with a clean canvas for water-based products.
Dimethicone
Also known as polymethylsiloxane, dimethicone is a silicon-based polymer used as a lubricant and conditioning agent. It improves the texture of the product and allows for a smoother glide across the skin. This is a common ingredient in primers because it is known to help fill pores and smooth fine lines.
Disodium Laurel Sulfosuccinate
A surfactant and emulsifying agent.
Disodium 2-Sulfolaurate
Derived from coconut oil and acts as a surfactant and foaming agent. It is used as a mild, non-drying cleanser.
Epsom Salt
Soaking in natural salts helps reduce inflammation, promotes healing, and provides magnesium that benefit your heart and nervous system. Soaking in salt is also known to encourage more restful sleep.
Ethyl Alcohol
An alcohol that is used to solubilize oils and other compounds. Often found in hand sanitizers.
Ethylhexylglycerin
A skin conditioning ingredient and a preservative.
Glyceryl Stearate
An emollient that softens and moisturizes skin and hair. Can also be used as a thickening agent.
Glycol Distearate
A compound based on stearic acid, a naturally occurring fatty acid. It is often used as a skin conditioning agent, viscosity controller and is known to give products a pearlescent effect.
Hexylene Glycol
A small molecular weight surfactant. It is used as a skin moisturizer, and a viscosity decreasing agent.
Isopropyl Myristate
Composed of isopropyl alcohol and myristic acid, a common, naturally occurring fatty acid. It can be used as a skin conditioning agent, a binding agent, and an ingredient in fragranced products.
Jojoba Seed Oil
Acts as a conditioning agent for hair and skin. Is an emollient and helps control viscosity.
Lanolin
Acts as an emulsion stabilizer, hair and skin conditioning agent, a skin protectant and a surfactant.
Lauramide MEA
A mixture of ethanolamides of lauric acid. It can function as a foam booster and viscosity controller.
Laureth-4
This ingredients functions as a surfactant.
Lauric Acid
A fragrance ingredient and surfactant.
Lavender Buds, Dried
Adds a decorative pop of color. Carries lavender essential oil that is released when crushed.

Lemon Fragrance Oil

Oat Extract
Oats have been used to soothe and moisten the skin for ages. However, with modern technology, we are able to isolate the benefits without the undesirable byproduct.
Oleate
The salt of oleic acid, used to adjust the pH of a product.
Organic Aloe Vera Leaf Extract
This ingredient has skin conditioning and soothing properties. It’s known to offer anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, humectant and soothing, anti-itch qualities for skin. The vitamins in Aloe Barbadensis (aloe) consist of antioxidants A, C and E, as well as thiamine, riboflavin, B12, choline and folic acid. Aloe consists a variety of minerals as well including iron, chromium, zinc, copper, manganese, magnesium, sodium, potassium and calcium. It is probably most known for its skin hydrating properties. And also being light weight on the skin.
Organic Chamomile Flower Extract
Said to be naturally soothing and nourishing. It has been used in remedies for centuries.
Organic Ginseng Root Extract
Ginseng root has been used in Chinese health practice for many years. It is known for its soothing properties. Ginseng root is also known for its anti-wrinkle and skin toning effects.
Organic Horsetail Extract
Well known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties, which makes it very useful. Its also said to have benefits for acne prone skin.
Organic Lemon Peel Extract
Known to clean, lighten, and brighten skin. It can help to enhance skin's clarity, glow and suppleness and to help fade blemishes by gently removing impurities and excess oil. It contains antibacterial and antioxidant benefits.
Organic Marigold Flower Extract
Said to stimulate epithelial cell production, mostly as a result of the presence of glycoproteins and nucleoproteins. It is also linked to increased cell turnover and improved collagen.
Organic Sage Leaf Extract
Sage leaf is not only used for its aroma but it has been known to have benefits for skin and hair. It has been shown to have skin toning affects on oily skin, and to have some anti-aging properties.
Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5)
A form of vitamin B5 that is often used as a moisturizer and lubricant.
PEG-150 Distearate
A polyethylene glycol dieter of stearic acid. It functions as a cleaning and solubilizing agent.
Pentasodium Pentetate
A chelating agent.
Phenoxyethanol
A preservative that can be found naturally in green tea, but the commercial ingredient is synthetically produced in a laboratory creating what's termed a "nature identical" chemical. Specifically, its created by treating phenol with ethylene oxide in an alkaline medium which all reacts to form a pH-balanced ingredient. It fights bacteria and fungi in personal care products. Polyglyceryl-4
A lipid-based synthetic skin conditioning agent.
Polyquaternium-7
A synthetic polymer based on quaternary ammonium compounds. It functions as an antistatic agent, film former, and hair fixative.
Potassium Sorbate
Fragrance ingredient and preservative.
Pro-Vitamin B5
Used as a moisturizer and lubricating compound.
Propylene Glycol
Fragrance ingredient, viscosity decreasing agent, and skin-conditioning agent. Although controversial, the only notable risk to human health that this ingredient poses is possible skin irritation. According to the FDA, this ingredient is safe in products such as hand sanitizers, make-up and soaps. This ingredient can also be found in some processed foods. As with any new cosmetic product, we recommend spot testing a small amount of the product on the inside of your wrist and waiting 24 hours to monitor for skin irritation before using the product more widely.
Safflower Seed Oil
Good for all skin types, highly moisturizing and soothing to the skin. Safflower oil creates a barrier on the skin preventing the skin from loosing moisture. Contains natural proteins, minerals and vitamins.
Sage Fragrance Oil
A synthetic blend of essential oils, extracts, resins and other aromatic ingredients. All of our fragrance oils are paraben-free and phthalate-free.
Sandalwood Fragrance Oil
A synthetic blend of essential oils, extracts, resins and other aromatic ingredients. All of our fragrance oils are paraben-free and phthalate-free.
SD Alcohol 40B
This ingredient speeds up drying time and reduces tack. It is also used as a solubilized when adding other oil-based ingredients including fragrances.
Sodium Benzoate
Fragrance ingredient and preservative.
Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate
A foaming agent and a cleansing agent. It can be derived from coconut and is not considered a sulfate.
Sodium Chloride (Table Salt)
This ingredient is more commonly known as table salt. In cosmetics, it is often used as a thickener or a preservative.
Sodium Citrate
Used to adjust the acidity of a product. Citrate, in the form of citric acid, is also found in citric fruits and juices.
Sodium Hempseedate 1
A natural-based skin conditioning agent.
Sodium Cocoate
Acts as a cleansing and emulsifying agent and is a surfactant.
Sodium Laurate
A surfactant, cleansing agent and emulsifying agent.
Sodium Laureth Sulfate
Used as a surfactant, it is a milder alternative to the commonly used, controversial sodium lauryl sulfate. Sodium laureth sulfate can be derived from coconut oil. As a part of the sulfate family, this ingredient can be controversial. According to research, sodium laureate sulfate can only occasionally be irritating to sensitive skin. Sodium Methyl 2-Sulfolaurate
A cleaning agent. It is also considered a mild surfactant.
Sodium Stearate
A naturally occurring fatty acid found in ingredients like shea butter. Sodium stearate is a sodium salt of stearic acid. Functions as a cleaning agent and a viscosity controller.
Sorbitol
A slow-metabolizing sugar alcohol derived from fruits, corn and seaweed. Its moisturizing qualities make it a popular ingredient in lotions, soaps and other cosmetics.
Soya Morpholinium Ethosulfate
A quaternary ammonium salt that functions as an antistatic and emulsifying agent.
Soybean Oil
An antioxidant-rich skin conditioning agent with occlusive and emollient properties.
Stearic Acid
Primarily fulfills the role of a thickener or hardener. It can also function as an emulsifier and a surfactant. It is a fatty acid found in cocoa butter, vegetable fats and animal tallow. The stearic acid found in our products is derived from plants.
Sweet Almond Oil
A natural emollient that is known for its moisturizing and conditioning properties. This ingredient is rich in proteins and vitamins that help to nourish, heal and protect the skin.
Tetrasodium Etidronate
A chelating agent, emulsion stabilizer, and viscosity controller.
Titanium Dioxide
A colorant, opacifying agent and sunscreen agent that absorbs ultraviolet light.
Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate)
A chemical compound that consists of acetic acid and vitamin E. It functions as an antioxidant and a skin conditioning agent.
Triethanolamine
A strongly alkaline substance used as a surfactant and pH adjusting chemical.
Vetiver Fragrance Oil
A synthetic blend of essential oils, extracts, resins and other aromatic ingredients. All of our fragrance oils are paraben-free and phthalate-free.
Vitamin A Palmitate
Often used as a skin moisturizing agent. It can keep membranes moist and healthy making it resistant to cell damage.
Vitamin C
This is a stable, oil soluble form of Vitamin C. Due to its antioxidant properties, it is often used in cosmetics, personal care and anti-aging products, as it has the ability to increase collagen levels, reduce melanin production, brighten skin and repair the effects of UV exposure and other environmental damage.
Witch Hazel Distillate
This ingredient is distilled from witch hazel extract. Witch hazel is flower plant native to North America, China and Japan. Distilled witch hazel has anti-inflammatory properties and is known to help with acne and healing irritated skin.
Xanthan Gum
A polysaccharide, or sugar-based polymer produced by bacteria. It is used as a viscosity agent in personal care products and foods.
