Gift Shop

Our farmhouse-style shop offers a curated selection of unique gifts, including handcrafted lavender soaps, lotions, candles, and more. Each item invites guests to experience the color, aroma, and flavor of lavender and other botanicals.

Lavender Fields

6,000 lavender plants of 11 different varieties are planted in the 12 acre parcel that is the Secret Garden. Surrounding the gift shop on both sides, the lavender fields boast bright, beautiful, purple blooms beginning in mid-June and continuing through the month of July. While some of the lavender is harvested before bloom, we do reserve parts of the field for u-pick lavender and a beautiful photo opportunity! 

Ice Cream & Light Bites

Dive into a cup of Traverse City's own Moomers Ice Cream during your visit. Choose from Vanilla, Chocolate Cherry, or Lavender Lemon - made with our own lavender! In addition, we offer our classic lavender lemonade and lavender shortbread cookies.

Brys Estate Wine & Hard Cider

Order a glass of Brys Estate wine or a can of hard apple cider to enjoy while you stroll the property and browse the gift shop.

Perennial Garden

Our large open-air perennial garden blooms in June and continues through October. U-pick flowers range per stem from 50¢ to $2. Snips are available for use and we sell a variety of vintage vases in the gift shop. 

Picnic Areas

Pack a lunch or shop for goodies inside our gift shop and enjoy the serenity of our expansive gardens. Relax on our sunny outdoor patio, take in the view from a picnic table on picnic hill, cozy up on a bench beside the rows of lavender, or pack a blanket and pick your own perfect spot!

Pet Policy

Pets are welcome at the Secret Garden! We ask that they remain leashed, are properly cleaned up after, and do not join us inside the gift shop. There are many grassy areas and outdoor seating spots that your furry friend can enjoy with you.

Brys Estate Winery

Located just up the hill from the Secret Garden is the Brys Estate Vineyard & Winery tasting room. They offer wine sampling, glasses of wine, cheese & charcuterie, and lunch items year-round. Reservations are recommended. Visit BrysEstate.com for more information.
