We are so excited to announce the 2020 opening of our garden gift shop on June 5th! Our hours for the month of June will be:
Monday - Thursday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday - Sunday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
We understand that this is an unusual and potentially stressful time for many. We are doing everything we can to create the safest environment possible for our customers. We are implementing the following policies and procedures until further notice:
We encourage everyone that is traveling from outside of the Traverse City area to follow CDC and Governor Whitmer's guidelines which currently involve a 14-day quarantine when arriving in the area.
We kindly ask that all customer follow CDC social distancing guidelines and remain 6 ft. away from employees and customers not in their household.
Masks are REQUIRED for all employees and customers (over the age of 2) when in the gift shop, when browsing products displayed outdoors and when interacting with employees and/or customers not in your household.
For those that are medically unable to wear a face mask, are immunocompromised or are uncomfortable with entering a public place, we will offer curbside pick-up for some of our bestselling products. Beginning June 5th, you can either place an order through our online store, select "Pick-Up" at checkout. We will have your order ready and bring it out to your car. OR you can give us a call at 231-223-4235 and we will ring you up over the phone and bring your items out to your car.
We will continue to offer u-pick opportunities as the season progresses. We ask that you continue to keep a 6 ft. distance between you and others even when out in our lavender, perennial and strawberry gardens.
We will continue to offer select treats such as Moomer's Ice Cream, Lavender Shortbread Cookies and other select items as they are available. These items will be pre-packaged and distributed by employees. Utensils will be pre-wrapped and distributed by employees. Customers are allowed to remove their face masks to enjoy their treats when they are outdoors and a safe distance from other customers and employees. We also ask that all utensils, cups and napkins are properly disposed of by each customer in the trash cans provided.
We are updating the packaging of some products to keep them clean. Select lavender sachets, pillows, kids' stuffed animals and other soft, non-washable items will be packaged in plastic as a further step toward cleanliness.
Finally, we will be changing the layout of our store to allow for social distancing to occur most efficiently. All checkout transactions will take place outside when the weather permits to free up space inside the store for customers that are still shopping. When the weather allows, we will also be displaying a selection of our bestselling items on racks outdoors to minimize congestion within the building.
Thank you so much for your support and patience with us as we navigate this unusual time. We will post updates here as we adapt our policies and procedures to match state and federal guidelines. We look forward to seeing your all very soon!
